Alison Brie, 39, has toned abs and legs in cut-out dress in IG photos

Alison Brie just proved that there’s nothing more underrated than a self-timer photo shoot. Alison gave fans a glimpse of her mega-toned abs and defined legs in an adorable polka dot cutout dress as she posed for her IG self-timer series.

The actress clearly had fun with the one-on-one photo shoot, and she even included a mid-pose action shot. Because really, it wouldn’t be an Alison Brie post without some comedy.

“🖤 love timed series 🖤 #spinmeround,” the 39-year-old actress captioned. The hashtag refers to Alison’s new movie, spin me aroundwhich premiered August 19 in theaters and is available to stream in VOD format only on AMC+, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

One fan described the post as “enchanting 🥰”. Another follower drew attention to her favorite photo from the series: “The pose in the 3rd pic😇😇😇❤️❤️.” A third fan simply wrote, “🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.” Sometimes an emoji says it best.

Alison is dedicated to her fitness routine and isn’t afraid of heavy weights. In preparation for the Netflix show GLOW In 2017, Alison changed her cardio-focused workouts to incorporate more strength-training exercises.

“It was all cardio, cardio, cardio,” Alison said, reflecting on her old workout routine. She was inspired to start strength training in her late twenties and now trains with her trainer, Jason WalchCEO of Rise Nation, to build muscle, she said W.H. in 2020.

Alison and Walsh focus on “primitive movements” during their workouts, which include crawling or rolling, pushing and pulling a heavy sled, deadlifts with a trap bar, and doing squats or lunges with a portable steel pipe.

Increasing her strength “took away the motivation to be skinny for Hollywood standards and made it so she could be strong to lift other women, literally. There was a real purpose,” Alison said. W.H..

In an Instagram story from December, Alison can be seen doing a single leg squat combo while grabbing a barbell with extra heavy weights. She also showed off weighted jump squats and a bench press. Talk about coordination!

I think it’s fair to say that Alison gym time is intense.

“Heavy lifting is so empowering – you really feel like a badass,” said Alison, per Good + Good. When filming for GLOW began, Alison said she was “lifting 165 pounds, hip pushing up to 300 pounds, and doing multiple sets of 10 pull-ups.” Super impressive!
