Fashion Art Design returns to CityPlace Doral – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

Due to his shrewd negotiation tactics, Deco Drive is contractually obligated to give Alex Miranda first notice on all stories. Alex really wanted this one. A modern convergence of art and fashion in Doral. I heard he fought passionately for this story, and even made a few people cry in the Deco office.

Move over New York and Milan, and move over Lynn and Shireen, the city of Doral is ready to conquer the worlds of fashion and art. Their annual Fashion Art and Design event is back, and Deco has had a ringside seat.

Art is all the rage at CityPlace Doral.

Mauro Olivieri: “Fashion Art Design is a week-long event in the city of Doral, and it is kicked off by the fashion show and pop-up art exhibits at CityPlace Doral.”

Watch attentively. Clothes on the runway are not what you imagine.

Mauro Olivieri: “There are six designers in total at this fashion show. Some of the pieces are actually made from different materials, plastics, straw, things you wouldn’t usually see on a catwalk.

Forget the fabric, Celia Ledón’s creations are durable.

Celia Ledón: “It will all be about avant-garde and industrial materials.

The designer showed her creativity last year, and she’s ready to bring it again.

Celia Ledón: “I present two pieces. One of them is made of placemats and the other is made of plastic pipes.

From real-life models to those in cyberspace, avatar fashionistas are a thing, thanks to 3D designs by Baker’s Karina Ochoa.

Karina Ochoa of Baker: “I do digital fashion, which means I use technology to support the design and creation process of my clothes. Either they will live in the real world or they will stay in the digital environment.

His digital creations are both fashion and film and will be shown on the screens of CityPlace.

Karina Ochoa of Baker: “This fashion film was created 100% digitally. Not all models exist in real life. All clothes are digital clothes only.

Off the rack is now from the Metaverse.

Karina Ochoa from Baker: “The clothes I show are ready-to-wear. They are inspired by streetwear and are intended for men and women.

Fashion Art Design is this Thursday.
