New Pink Cadillac Boutique Brings “Boho Western” Fashion to Canyon

A local couple made their dream come true and hosted the opening of their new business, the Pink Cadillac Boutique, located at 307 Country Club Drive in Canyon.

The Pink Cadillac boutique held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Canyon Chamber of Commerce in honor of the opening Thursday afternoon, featuring husband and wife co-owners Shane and Lisa Nogle.

The duo grew up in the town of Canyon, but Lisa Nogle moved to Colorado, where she previously opened a boutique under the same name. It was after returning to her hometown that she decided to pursue her dream boutique once again.

“We’re very excited. It’s been a labor of love. … To be able to open this here in our hometown is exciting,” Shane Nogle said. “We’ve been working on it for over a year, and since we’re both Canyonites, it’s nice to see the community come out and support us.”

The establishment takes its name from the couple’s base vehicle that will most often be displayed outside the store, a pink 1964 Cadillac Coupe DeVille.

Lisa Nogle said having the car was a dream of hers and she was very particular about what specific shade of pink she wanted it to be. Nogle said that when she was in Colorado at the start of the first location, she was so focused on choosing the color of the car that she decided to name the store after her.

“The car came first, the name of the store after,” said Lisa Nogle. “I had spent so much time getting the perfect color that I couldn’t think of a name for the boutique other than The Pink Cadillac.”

The store owner said she got the idea for a boutique after walking inside a mall and realizing how overwhelming the experience was. She set out to create a space where shopping would be easy, enjoyable, fun and inclusive.

“In my previous industry, I ran eye optometry practices, and I loved the aspect of working with people, so I tried to think of a way to incorporate that into my own business,” said Lisa Nogle.

The boutique wears a “Boho Western” style and caters to women of all sizes and ages, with women’s sizes 2-24 and XS-3XL. The store also offers a line of Western jewelry, handmade leather handbags made in Texas, and two lines of handmade in Texas soy candles, including The Great Texas Candle Company.

The Pink Cadillac boutique also offers its own range of products, including soaps, sugar scrubs, lotions, bath bombs and lip balms.

“Anytime we can bring a new business to Canyon, we welcome it, and the fact that Lisa is from here, making it a Canyon-owned business, is even better,” said Roger Remlinger, Executive Director of the Canyon Chamber of Commerce.
