Zonta Unique Selling Club MOV Shop | News, Sports, Jobs

The Zonta Club at MOV would like to thank the community for their continued support of our bi-annual clothing sale, Boutique Unique.

This is one of the largest fundraisers and all proceeds benefit our service projects, including scholarships at Washington State Community College. These scholarships benefit non-traditional female students. We are also working to raise awareness of the need for feminine hygiene products, bras and underwear in the region with our Delicates for Dignity project coming this fall. The Zonta Club at MOV also presents the Betty Hadler Woman of the Year Award at the Marietta Chamber of Commerce dinner in the spring.

This award is given to an outstanding woman from Washington or Wood County whose outstanding and dedicated volunteer service to the community has improved the lives of others.

Thank you to all of our loyal individual supporters who continue to donate with every sale. We really couldn’t have this sale without community donations. We would also like to thank these supporters and volunteers: WMOA Radio, Marietta Times, Marietta Township Community Center, Real Living McCarthy Real Estate, Advantage Real Estate and all of our outside volunteers who helped carry our gear and hang clothes with us all the week.

All remaining clothing was donated to Gospel Mission Food Pantry, Latrobe Street Mission, Church of Christ African Project and Soles for Souls Project.

The success of the event would not be possible without the continued support of all Zonta members, their family and friends. Our next sale will be October 28-29, 2022. Look for announcements and updates on our Facebook page regarding donation drop-off times. We hope to see you there.
